I assumed they’d already be clear on these pieces, and that I could just simply design their site for them and get them up and running online. I was wrong. They’d get stuck, and I’d get frustrated. Something was missing from a smooth and easy launch.

and most importantly, taking a look at what they wanted for their life and their business …. first.
By branding, I mean more than just having a logo idea, or wanting to use certain quotes or images, but the BIG picture. A brand is what you do, who you do it for, why you do it, and what makes you unique. It becomes your visual identity and informs your design choices. Branding is the foundation for marketing yourself in the world. When you get clear on your brand, from there, you can build logos, graphics, websites, and web copy.
Once I worked with my clients on branding before we created their website and design content, their clarity crystallized and their confidence soared. They were energized and excited to move forward and able to spend more time on what they wanted to do in the world.

Build Your BRAND includes

1. excavating
You’ll fill out a questionnaire finding out more about your business, brand, and your personal values and how they all fit together. This gives me clarity on who you are, who you work with, what you offer, and what’s important to you. Your answers will help me dig deeper into your uniqueness for our brand consultation.

2. discovering
In this collaborative process, we will meet on Zoom for a 1-hour brand consultation to dig deep into the why behind what you do and what makes you unique. This session will be recorded and transcribed, because you will say brilliant things in this session that you’ll want to remember and use later on in your copy or social media content. I help draw you out and bring out your most unique self so you can confidently and authentically show up.

3. designing
After our first session, I will build your brand. I’ll work in Canva and create a brand guide, fonts, color palette and mood board, as well as logos in a few formats for web and social media use. I will create a social media banner in sizes for LinkedIn, Substack, or any other plaform needed.

4. messaging
After I complete the visual branding, I’ll create a guide for your messaging and marketing. This means your offer and packages names and descriptions, your profiles and bios, and the written content behind your brand.

5. realizing
We will meet on a 1-hour Zoom again to finalize design details together so you can make any adjustments. We will also chat about messaging and answer any questions you have about your brand.

6. embodying
You will get a PDF brand guide with moodboard, brand messaging voice, brand color palette, fonts, logos in web and print formats, and a link to your Canva file so you can make edits in the future as you evolve. I give you a week of email and video feedback support as you implement your brand into your platforms and make it real in the world.
The goal is to get you unstuck, and get
your branding flowing so you can get going.
